Oppenheimer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. She began her career in the operating room, spending a decade focused primarily on neurosurgery in New York City and Boston before returning to her hometown of Chicago. Oppenheimer also worked for two years at the Northwestern Medicine Vein Center before joining the Student Health Service in 2024.
She became a nurse because it allows her to help a wide variety of people in meaningful ways, and she continues in the profession because she truly enjoys the work she does every day. Outside of work, Oppenheimer enjoys spending time with her family. |
