One of our top priorities is helping you get and stay ready for the rigors of university life and academics. Our primary care clinicians can:

• Evaluate your mental health needs
• Prescribe medications
• Refill already-prescribed medications
• Refer you to other mental health practitioners if needed​
  
  

Per policy, Student Health Service clinicians are not able to write letters for emotional support animals. Please reach out to CAPS for help finding a provider who can assist.

For your first mental health visit, please schedule a 40-minute appointment. All follow-up visits after that will be 20 minutes. You can schedule a visit by calling us at 847.491.8100 or through MyNM.

Our clinicians can also refill ADHD or ADD medications, including stimulants, for people who have already been diagnosed with those conditions.
