Beintema has clinical experience in primary care and community health. Her clinical practice focuses on fostering meaningful relationships with patients and practicing compassionate yet evidence-based medicine. Though she treats a wide range of conditions, her clinical interests also include chronic disease management, gastrointestinal conditions, mental health and women’s health.
She graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science with a Master of Science in physician assistant studies. Beintema also has a background in community health, having served as a health educator in Peace Corps and leading medical brigades in the Amazon of Ecuador. She speaks English and Spanish, and she is dedicated to ensuring that every patient has access to high-quality health care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, nature and spending time with her puppy. |
