Dr. Mjaanes is a sports medicine physician who currently serves as head team physician and director of Sports Medicine overseeing athletic medical care for Northwestern University student-athletes. His practice encompasses general medical care for young athletes and nonsurgical management of sport-related injuries and conditions.
He graduated from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, completed a primary care residency at Rush University and a sports medicine fellowship. For the last two decades, he has been practicing sports medicine for active patients of all ages. He speaks English and Spanish, and he is dedicated to ensuring that every patient has access to high-quality health care. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, skiing, reading and spending time with his family. |
